Mahou Shounen FIGHT! is the creation of Dusty K Smith and JD Saxon and has been in production since the early 2000’s in the pioneer days of webcomics. The first volume of the story included 5 chapters which was funded on Kickstarter, creating a 212 page book and merchandise which are available in our shop.
Dusty and JD had a hard time for several years and had to put the comic aside for a while but we are BACK IN THE SADDLE and working on chapter 6 of Mahou Shounen FIGHT! with a new addition to our creative team. We are joined by the talented artist Anna Wieszczyk who is providing the pencil drawings for the new content.

 | Dusty K Smith aka DustyJack Co-Writer, Layouts, Colors + Lettering Dusty has a deep passion for telling teen/kid friendly stories for underrepresented groups. They manage all the business and social media operations for Mahou Shounen FIGHT! and Scuttlebutt Ink. When not working on creative projects, Dusty runs a pet sitting business. Dusty’s also a hobbyist nature photographer and GMs an ongoing Star Trek Adventures game. |
| JD Saxon Co-Writer, Pencils + Inks As Dusty’s partner (creatively and IRL for more than 20 years!), JD helps write and draw MSF! as the penciller/inker for the first 5 chapters and the inker for subsequent pages. A retail worker by day, they spend their free time drawing and taking care of their two cats, Taq and Nerys. Their primary artistic mission is to keep putting queer art into the world and supporting others in doing the same. |  |
 | Anna Wieszczyk Pencils Anna is a published artist based in Poland, Kraków. Her titles have appeared in print by Archaia, Black Mask Studios, Strange Circus, Image and many others. She is also active on a comic zine scene. Anna specializes in horror and fantasy illustrations. Together with her sister she runs Wieszczyk Illustrations Studio.
